Mindful Immersion – Fully immersing yourself in an activity instead of multitasking helps your mind be more intuned with your body. When you’re working on multiple things at once then your mind is not fully involved with any one thing, it’s pretty obvious when you break it down like that. To be mindful your mind must be fully involved it’s in the name! I know we glmaourize multitasking and it is a great skill to have but it’s important to slow down and fully immerse yourself in to a project or task instead of doing multiple things at once. You’ll noticed not only do you retain information better but your work will also improve.

Appereciation: Practice gratitude. Be thankful for what you have and all that you will achieve. There’s been a misconception going on in the world that has this idea that appreciation is acceptance. It’s not, you can appreciate a gift and still refuse it. Apperciation is simply being grateful for what you have and what you have been given. You don’t have to accept it. Example when I was in a tiny apartment that leaked I was grateful that I had a roof over my head, I wasn’t thrilled about the condition it was in but it was a shelter none the less. I still worked toward getting a better accommodations. Be grateful not compliant.
