I always say life is a journey, not a race. When you go through life you have to often reflect to truly understand the journey you’re on and to see how far you have come. Today we will visit some of the lessons I’ve learned on this journey and I encourage you to share yours in the comments. I always say life is a journey, not a race. When you go through life you have to often reflect to truly understand the journey you’re on and to see how far you have come. Today we will visit some of the lessons I’ve learned on this journey and I encourage you to share yours in the comments.

People Are Like Seasons They’re Always Changing And Coming In And Out Your Life

You have to accept the fact that people change and with those changes, they may not fit in your life anymore and that’s ok it’s part of growing up and you can’t grow if you’re fighting to stay the same.

Stop Caring What People Think

This is not something that comes naturally, at least for me it didn’t. You have to do little things to grow your confidence then eventually it’ll happen you’ll start wearing and doing things that you thought you were nervous about but it starts with being happy with yourself.

Be Kind To Yourself

Enough of the tough love bs! As they say, you catch more flies with honey than vinegar! It’s ok to look in the mirror and love what you see. Eat well, move how you want, and laugh loudly. There’s enough toxicity in the world you don’t need it coming from you.

Love Yourself Unapologetically

This is the most important lesson. Don’t let outsider’s opinions on your life they don’t know your struggles, they don’t pay your bills. You are strong, powerful, and amazing in your own right. It’s a self-love journey even if you don’t love yourself completely now don’t stop the journey.

Silence Is Golden

It’s better to watch and observe and only speak when necessary rather than speak all the time about nonsense. This was a hard lesson for me because when I’m around people I hate silence but I’ve learned so much from being quiet than I ever have when I talked all the time.
